Many installers, engineers and builders rely on the excellent properties of copper tubing when it comes to ensuring reliability and maximum thermal conduction. For use in dry-lined ceilings, BEKA serpentine copper tubes are bent from soft tempered (R220), top-quality Cu-DHP copper pipe to EN 12449, and pressed with 80-mm spacing into large-surface aluminium heat conducting profiles under pressure.

Factory Prefabrication and Easy Installation

After being pressed into the aluminium heat conducting profiles, the BEKA serpentine copper tubes are pre-assembled in the factory to create a suspension structure. This is then mounted in the CD substructure constructed on site in accordance with dry-lining guidelines. The pre-defined grid dimensions can cover three standard spacings between support profiles. Pre-assembling the serpentine copper tubing facilitates installation on the construction site and thus saves valuable installation time. The serpentine copper tubes are connected to one another and the supply pipes by means of soldering, pressing or plug-in connector technology. For all these standard techniques, the ends of the BEKA serpentine copper tubes are cleanly calibrated and deburred to the nominal size.

The BEKA serpentine copper tubes are pressed into the aluminium heat conducting profiles to achieve good thermal conductivity. The serpentine copper tubes are simply inserted into the CD substructure using the special suspension structure. Good thermal contact between the large-surface heat-conducting profile and the dry-lining panel ensures excellent transfer of cooling and heating energy.
